Why Should You Blog ?

Because just about EVERYONE is!

Another way to say that it is......that 6% of the entire U.S. adult population (internet users and non-users alike) have created blogs. That’s one out of every 20 people or that translates into more than 11 million American adults who say they have created blogs.

Moreover 16% of all U.S. adults (or one in six people) are blog readers.

Well, OK, if that isn't good enough for you, here are two more reasons.

Blogs let you - communicate.

Communicate with whom?

Your audience. Customers, subscribers, prospects, readers. Anyone whom you could earlier reach by email. Fact is, e-mail is getting less effective as a communication tool simply because it often fails to reach the intended recipient. Blame it on the deluge of spam email and the increasing use of aggressive filters by ISPs and end users.

This is where the blog enters - where a message is on the Web for anyone to see. Then there is the issue of getting the word out when you update the blog - but we will get to that later.

Another good reason... blogging helps you reveal your true personality, by letting the YOU shine through. It's easier to establish rapport with audiences through a blog post that's an unpolished form of your thought processes - than through a corporate bulletin or edited newsletter.

So utilize your blog to the fullest and communicate
